Drooly & Bark

February 28, 2007 at 1:00 pm by J*B*

I love Dooney & Bourke bags. They are so cute, colorful and fashionable. And have you seen their new spring line? I’m sure BlogMistress Designer Ella has!

So, due to my fondness of this designer, I bring to you more pun madness in the form of the Drooly & Bark Bag Toy found at Pawterre.

Adorned with hearts and the “Drooly & Bark” namesake tag, now I can have Scout share in my obsession for Dooney & Bourke.

And, the best part about these bags is that my husband doesn’t mind when I stock up on them. Why’s that you may ask. Well, because Dooney & Bourke tend to display their initials, “DB,” on their purses; which happen to be my husband’s initials. He says when I wear their products, it’s like he branded them himself …

Guess he’s marking his territory like any good stud.

Me Hungry. Feed Now.

February 27, 2007 at 3:52 pm by J*B*

Have you ever seen something while shopping, and thought to yourself, “Wow, Self, I don’t know why I love this so much, but I HAVE to have it!” I think this ALL the time. That’s why my credit card bills are so high.

Well, this dog bowl I found at a It’s a Treat Pet Boutique (Gotta love the rhyming name!) is a must-have, even if your pooch already has a dinner bowl. The Feed Me! Thirsty! Bowl is so elegant and understated; it would fit into any home décor—from modern to French country, eclectic to classic.

Made from high-fired, restaurant-quality porcelain, this bowl will not give your dog acne on his or her chin, nor will it hold in bacteria, like plastic bowls tend to do.

The only thing that would make this bowl 100% perfect is if it had its own pedestal so that Fido does not have to hurt his neck bending down to eat. Guess that’s next on my “must-have” list.

Kimonos for Dogs!

February 23, 2007 at 6:49 pm by J*B*

KimoNOs are a definite fashion YES!

kimono.jpg

Just in case, you are wondering, a kimono, according to dictionary.com, is “a loose, wide-sleeved robe, fastened at the waist with a wide sash, characteristic of Japanese costume.”

And Dognamite Boutique is the first doggie dot com I have ever seen carry these beautiful patterned garments! And this site doesn’t just have one or two robes to choose from. They have a whole line of colorful and authentic-looking kimonos to fit various sizes of dogs.

Your pup doesn’t have to be a Japanese chin to appreciate the glamour and luxorious comfort of a kimono robe.

Butterfly Dreams

February 21, 2007 at 6:22 pm by J*B*

I love dogs. I love butterflies. I love this bed! Doesn’t it remind you of spring? And with the weather that the District has been having the last couple days, Scout and I have been getting Spring fever.

While this bed may not be up Scout’s alley, the girly-girl design is perfect for those dainty dogs.

Found at Wiggle-n-Waggle, this custom-cut Pawsitively Posh Butterfly Pillow Bed with Flower Toy Dog Bed is made with soft, comfy chenille, perfect for cuddle sessions (with or without your dog!).

This retro-chic bed even comes with a chenille Flower Toy that’s stuffed with soft plush and crinkly paper, which might excite cats, too!

Is it me, or does this bed remind you of Lunesta, too?
