Superhero Sass: Wonder Woman Gear for Pets

I’m not seriously into comic books, but I’ve always harbored a deep affection for Wonder Woman. The character was created in 1941 as a strong role model for young girls, and when the television show, starring Lynda Carter in the title role, aired in the late ‘70’s, I was mesmerized. So mesmerized, in fact, that as a 4-year-old I decided I wanted to “be” Wonder Woman when I grew up.
So, when I discovered the fantastic Wonder Woman pet charm from Modern Tails, I simply HAD to whip out the credit card and buy one for my fuzzy “wonder girl,” the headstrong Trudy. Upon further investigation, I found that Modern Tails also offers a Wonder Woman pet carrier, in bright red, blue and yellow, emblazoned with the classic double W, winged logo. It’s awesomely old-school and brings back fond memories of the similar-looking Wonder Woman book-bag I proudly hauled into the first grade.
Now, if only I could get my hands on a “Golden Lasso of Truth” dog leash, I’d always know which of my furry little monsters was munching on the couch cushions …
