What happened to Mischa Barton’s puppy, Ziggy? Poor little thing. At least we see he is being taken care of, and even given a *fabulous* pink cast.

Embrace Pet Insurance .com is a site telling you to do just that, accept pet health insurance as a norm, even a necessity. This company hasn’t set up its business just yet but plans to for Summer 2006. What is there now are stories, links to articles, a mailing list and yes, a blog.
The Embrace Pet Insurance blog is filled with more stories, pet care tips and the usual reader-friendly blog talk.
It’s a great site for a great cause.
We should all really think about getting health insurance for these loved ones. To me, it’s a lot about equal rights and opportunities for our pets. Unfortunately, Tasha’s too sick with her current condition and even spry Charlotte might be considered old (shock! evil! no! wrong!), and I don’t even pay to make this decision for the babies, but next pups I get, they’re getting insurance. They’ll be better taken care of than I was as a child! (And I also hope I’ll have insurance for myself. Some of us never know. But our beloved pets are lucky dogs.)
Mmmm, the sweet scents of summer are filling the air here on the east coast. Fresh cut grass, roses beginning to bloom, and of course the intoxicating aroma of wild honeysuckle. As a kid, I loved to wander through the fields around my aunt’s house, picking the trumpet-shaped blooms off the huge honeysuckle bushes and pulling them apart to enjoy a drop of their sweet nectar on my tongue.
