Puppy Teethers

Well, I’ve been crazy busy the past few days learning what it takes to raise a puppy and I’m beat! It really is like having a baby! But my little princess Mimi is doing quite well. I’ve never had a puppy before, so I’ve been reading as much as I can on how to raise her properly. The last thing I need is for her to turn out all spaz-zy like the Murph-dog.

Of course, it’s been difficult for me to concentrate on buying her things she really NEEDS, instead of the cute outfits that I’m dying to purchase. But, so far I’ve been able to keep my priorities in check … for the most part.

Anyway, one thing that I learned puppies need is appropriate chewy toys. I never knew that puppies go through teething, just like babies, and lose their baby teeth before cutting adult ones. As such, puppies need toys made to stimulate and soothe their gums and jaws. So off I went to Dog Toys .Com and found lots of adorable puppy teethers, made just for furry babies like Mimi.

The Multi Texture Chew Ring is made of soft cotton/polyester rope, with a variety of textured balls designed to hold puppy’s interest. It’s squishy and colorful and looks just like a baby’s toy! Adorable, indeed.

To soothe sensitive gums, pop Ruff Puppy Teethers in the freezer for a chilly gum massage. The special material will remain cold enough, but not too cold, to provide hours of cool chewing fun.

And every dog needs a Kong, the tough chew toy that does double duty to keep canine teeth clean. Puppy Kongs are made of special, teething-safe, rubber material and teaches puppies appropriate chewing behaviors. Choose from a teething stick or the classic bouncy Kong shape to promote healthy jaw development and teething relief.

So Mimi will get her teethers, her puppy chews and a buttload of other stuff that I can’t resist. This is only the beginning …
