Tasty Toys

It sure is beginning to feel like spring-time out here on the East Coast. The past few days have brought mild temperatures and sunny skies, which makes me itchy for some outdoor play-time with my Murphy dog. However, Murphy isn’t much of a sports enthusiast, and really doesn’t enjoy running around the yard chasing stuff. He’d rather lounge. Honestly, I’m also more of a lounger myself, but all those winter evenings spent couch-surfing have taken their toll and Murphy and I are both in need of some exercise.

Walks are good, but can be a little time-consuming for an everyday activity, so I’ve had to figure out a way to lure the Murphy Man out into the backyard. Usually, when I try to engage him in a game of fetch with a ball or one of his rope bones, he just stands there staring at me, as if to ask, “Why can’t we just go back inside and snuggle on the couch?” But I have found the holy grail of enticing toys that he can’t seem to resist.

Flavored tennis balls! That’s right, good-old-fashioned tennis balls, made tasty with bakers-grade flavor-extracts. As soon as the scent hit Murphy’s twitchy little nose, he knew these were no ordinary tennis balls, and totally worthy of a chase.

PawPrintz .Com carries the entire line of these yummy playthings, with flavors like Cool Mint, Frosty Orange, Vanilla, and Black Jelly Bean. They also offer a variety pack of 3 different flavors, so your discriminating doggie can sample the goods and select his favorite. The excellent bonus of these balls is that, in addition to tempting the taste buds, they also freshen stinky puppy breath!

So lure your lazy baby out into the sunshine with these delicious toys for a rousing game and get some spring fever fun rolling!
