Have a Drink on Me

February 12, 2006 at 6:03 pm by DarlaKitt

We all have those days. You know, the days when all we can do is fantasize about getting home and cracking open the bottle. Days when we need a drink. Well, the folks over at Muttropolis believe that dogs have those days too, and offer two adorable bowl sets to accommodate them.
cosmopolitan dog bowl
If your dog is the girly-drink type, the Cosmo-paw-litan is made just for her. This raised ceramic bowl holds 16 ounces of food or beverage, and comes with a plush lemon squeaker toy as “garnish” and a matching cocktail napkin placemat. I also love that around the inside rim of this fabulous dish is written “It’s Cosmo-paw-litan Time!”

Maybe your dog is more of the Frank Sinatra type, and fancies himself a martini. Not to worry, the Mutt-tini bowl is made just for him! This bright yellow ceramic dish also comes with a matching cocktail napkin placemat and an appropriate olive squeaky toy, to top things off just right.

Whichever cocktail your pooch prefers, these bowls are sure to put a smile on his or her face, especially when they’ve had a “ruff day.”

Cheers!

Fish Folk & Fun

February 12, 2006 at 1:09 pm by J*B*

Let us not forget, fur folk, fish are pets, too. Our fine finned friends make up a huge amount of the pet population. From the $.99 goldfish to the $100 colored parrotfish, many people consider their fish to be beloved companions.

Tank

If you are looking for a unique fish tank, head on over to Mount Shasta General Store. There, you can check out fish tanks that also double as artwork. The C-25 AquaVision with the Hourglass Stand is a wonderful way to enjoy life with your fish. And with the AD-100 AquaDome Fountain, you can enjoy watching your fin-babies through magnified windows. How cool is that?

At Mount Shasta General Store, you can even turn a fish tank into a coffee table! Illuminated from a bed of blue gravel, observe your beautiful fish in a relaxing, natural environment. Then, place your cup of coffee safely on top of them! Check out their AquaTable aquariums for outrageous tank ideas.

Remember, just because you cannot snuggle with a fish, does not make it an unsuitable pet. Fish are gorgeous critters who, I believe, can benefit from human friends. I mean, I can’t be the only one who talks to her fish … can I?
