A’vast Ye Sea Dogs—Part Duex
February 9, 2006 at 2:31 pm by J*B*My last year in college my friend and I took a criminology class. We liked the class, but what we really enjoyed most was this hottie who sat behind us. He had cool, long hair that he wore back with a bandana, a goatee, and an small silver hoop earring. He totally looked like a pirate! So we nicknamed him , ‘Pirate Boy.’ We even had jokes to fit him accordingly, such as “He can walk my plank” and “He can captain my hook …” But since this is a G-rated blog, I will digress…
I love pirates! So, any time I see a pirate-themed dog toy, I have to buy it for Scout. And surprisingly there are a bunch of dog/pirate items out there for our pals.
If you want to turn your dog into a pirate, visit Brands On Sale for this silly pirate costume. But, I will say this, it’s kinda strange (even for me!) to dress your dog up as a pirate if it isn’t Halloween. So, for a more toned-down pirate look, check out Glamajama for their awesome, silver studded Skull Dog Tee.

Or, if dressing up your pooch is not your thing, carry your dog around in comfort with the Happy Pirate Pet Carrier at The Princess and The Pup.
All this pirate stuff has made me charge-happy! So I asked Dave if he had seen my credit card. As usual, he said that I must have misplaced it. Now, there may be some things that I tend to misplace—my glasses, my car keys, my nail file. But my credit card? Never. My money says that Dave hid it from me again. Le sigh.
C’mon, Scout! Find Mommy’s credit card! You can do it Girl … find Mommy’s credit card!
It’s time to see how smart these border collies really are …
