I’m sure most of you are aware of that darling cartoon bunny rabbit who says horrible things on T-shirts, notebooks, key chains, and darn near anything else you could possibly fathom. It’s Happy Bunny! Most famous for saying things like, “You smell like butt” and “Hi, Loser,” the products make you giggle with their own endearing brand of meanness.

And now your pup can join in on the mean-spirited fun, because Happy Bunny designers have created shirts for dogs with their own very special messages like, “Cute, but kind of evil” or, my personal favorite, “I like people. They clean up your poop.”

However, if your dog doesn’t feel that a rabbit could accurately reflect his or her feelings, check out their line of products featuring a new character, Dog of Glee. Doggie shirts featuring this smiling cartoon mutt express such snickering sentiments as, “Let’s Hump Legs,” “Can I Pee Here?” and “I Poop Where I Want.” You can also find the adorably mean Dog of Glee on a variety of other products, including some terrific stickers and buttons you can use to decorate your dog’s stuff.
Happy Bunny and Dog of Glee may be a little too mean or gross for some folks, but for others (like me and Murphy dog), who still enjoy the occasional fart/poop joke, the goofy designs are sure to provide some good-natured giggles and make for terrific conversation pieces. And how funny would it be for you and your precious pup to strut down the street wearing matching “Cute, But Psycho” shirts?

If you remember, I promised that my next post would be about the boys. And not one to go back on a promise, that is exactly what this post is about. As girls look pretty in pink, boys look handsome in blue—well, black to be exact. (Hey, that rhymed! Ha! Ha! Ha! … Snort!)

So, let the swooning begin! If you are looking for formal wear for your furry lad, look no further than Hunter K9 Gear. Their Satin Tuxedo Tux—complete with top hat and tails (the tuxedo kind!)—will have the ladies lining up around the backyard to flirt with best-dressed man-pooch in the neighborhood! Have your handsome boy look his most debonair at doggy weddings, parties, and holidays. I mean, just look at that pug. Why, he’s irresistible in that Bond, James Bond kind of way!
But, if your you little stud is into less formal attire, check out the Hippy Puppy’s classic Basic Polo Shirt. They also carry the stylin’ Reversible Training Jumper that is so Gap meets Miami Vice. And, even though the boutiques are beginning to display their Spring lines, puppies are still freezing their tiny tushes off! In fact, it just snowed this morning here in the District. So, if your little man is feeling a bit chilly while on his afternoon jaunts outside, consider buying him the snug-as-a-rug Army Barmy Military Parka.
Remember, the boys can be as well-dressed as the ladies, so let’s not neglect our masculine pals. After all, boys love couture, too!

Everyone knows that a tough punk rock pooch needs a tough punk rock collar, right? Right. But even the classic silver pyramid-studded black leather can get boring after a while. As essential pieces of every dog’s wardrobe, we need to introduce new collars every now and again to keep his or her look fun, fresh and exciting.

Furry Little Monsters .Com offers a terrific line of collars designed by Hot Dogs, which are perfect alternatives to the traditional metal studs. Even the most angelic pup acts like a little monster at times, and the Little Monsters collar will express that part of his or her personality perfectly. The devilish nickel creatures dance around fiery red or classic black leather on this beautifully crafted collar with buckle closure. For a totally monstrous look pair the collar with the Little Monsters leash in a matching color.

If your canine is poisonously precious, go with the killer Skull and Crossbones collar. Nickel skulls and crossbones make quite an impression on either classic black or delicate pale pink leather. Skull leashes are also available to mix or match. If I had a girl doggie, I think I’d go with the pink collar and black leash for a nice coordinated contrast.
Of course, you can never go wrong with that classic studded collar, but it’s no fun to wear the same thing day in and day out, no matter how classically stylish. So, switch up your pup’s neckwear with a rockin’ alternative.

…isn’t she? It appears like the little one is all ready for her first Spring cotillion. I know that we are still in the dead of February, but this Flowerist Dress (and puppy!) was so bright and cheerful, it put me in a great mood. So, I thought I would share this cutesy find with you all.

At Hippy Puppy, they have all kinds of charming, feminine dresses for your little lady. Check out the Vivien Diamond Tutu Dress in black for the little minx in your puppy. The Bellflower Dress is the perfect thing to cheer up you and your dog on those chilly days of winter. And, your pretty girl will be bee-boppin’ all over the place with the Peggy Sue dress, which brings us 50’s retro at its best.
All of Hippy Puppy’s exquisite dresses come in different sizes, so even your bigger-boned fur-babies can look beautiful whenever company arrives.
Oh, sorry stud-dog owners … I admit it, this post was for the ladies. But I promise, next post will be exclusively for your gentlemen.

Calling all Elvis fans! May I have your attention please?! I have a very important announcement! Elvis Presley Enterprises has licensed a line of dog products, called “Elvis Pets!”

That’s right, folks. You can now order fully licensed pet products directly from Shop Elvis .Com. Straight from the gilded gates of Graceland and onto your puppy’s back. As a huge, and I mean HUGE, Elvis freak, I am extremely excited about this recent discovery.

Deck out your hound dog in a Gold Lame Tux, just like the one Elvis himself wore during a sell-out concert in 1957! It even has Elvis’ signature embroidered on the back! Or dress him up like soldier Tulsa MacLean, the character Elvis played in the 1960 film G.I. Blues, in a standard-issue olive green Army jacket, complete with an embroidered American flag on the back. If your puppy isn’t the clothing-wearing type, no need to fret. He or she can wear the soft nylon “Love Me Tender” collar to show their affection for the King.

And, your dog can even play like the King with his or her very own Blue Suede Shoe plush toy! This adorable shoe features Elvis’ name embroidered on the front and a fun squeaker for maximum interest.
Maybe I’m just a big ol’ Elvis dork, I don’t know, but I hope our readers are as excited about the Elvis Pets stuff as I am. I know the Murphy dog is, because as soon as I started talking about it, his little hips started a’wigglin’ and his floppy lips started a’twitchin,’ which made me start singing to him …
“You ain’t nothing but a Murphy dog, kissing all the time.”
“You ain’t nothing but my stinky dog, farting all the time.”
“Well, you slobber on the couch, but I still love that you’re mine!”
God, I’m such a geek…
