Baby Blues—In Denim!
December 21, 2005 at 7:12 pm by J*B*Occasionally, I think that I might want to have a baby. Now, I am not talking about the fuzzy kind of baby that I always obsess over, but the bald, sometimes wrinkly human type of baby that all of my friends are having.
As most of you know, I am not afraid to embrace my maternal instincts when it comes to raising puppies and older dogs. However, now and then, when I have these rare moments of parental daydreaming, I imagine how cute it would be to have a little boy and dress him in overalls—denim ones to be exact.
So, imagine my exhilaration when I was surfing one of my favorite sites, Modern Tails, and saw the cutest, darn thing I have ever seen: doggy overalls—denim ones!
Look how cute this little Maltese looks in his overalls and blue-plaid shirt. But unlike authentic overalls, the shirt is attached. No matter! Overalls are overalls, and I think I might buy this just to have around the house when I finally break down my husband, and he allows me to adopt a small, scruffy terrier mix.
Dave says that I couldn’t handle more than three pets at a time. Whatevs! I know that I can handle multiple dogs—big and small. A baby, however… well, that’s another story.
