“Dress” Up Your Harness

October 19, 2005 at 3:43 pm by J*B*

Some dogs, like pugs and English bulldogs, have to wear harnesses. Their proud parents have no choice. You see, due to the way their bodies are built and their well-known breathing issues, collar leashes could hurt them. So, really, harnesses are the only way to go. (That being true for spazzy dogs, as well.)

However, if you are anything like me, you think that harnesses are a necessary evil. I mean, let’s face it: they’re ugly! There is no aesthetic beauty in them at all. In fact, I think that they actually take away from a dog’s pretty fur. Plus, they are a big pain in the butt to put on. But, like I mentioned before, for certain breeds they are necessary.

So, it got me thinking, there has to be a way to use a harness, yet hide its unattractiveness. Bingo! The trend-setters at Bella Paris have beaten me to the punch! They have the most beautiful harnesses I have ever seen because the harness is built into either a cool, colorful vest or a beautiful patterned dress. Brilliant!

These harnesses are designed like clothing so they do not have to be fastened tight. They are comfortable and cute! Hop on the Bella Paris website for their sizing chart and harness tips, so you can fit your fido correctly with the ultimate in harness fashion!

Now, I have never seen any dog wearing one of these harnesses. Buy one and I think your dog will definitely be the first in the neighborhood to proudly sport a harness dress or vest. Then, take a picture of the little guy, and send it to Pet-Pet. We’ll feature him on our blog! Plus, we’ll give you a virtual wet, sloppy kiss… from one of our dogs, of course.
