Escape from the Dreaded “Carrier Arm”

October 14, 2005 at 5:01 pm by J*B*

Pink Pet StrollerOh no… has your dog carrier been giving you a cramp in your shoulder lately? We understand. You want to take your precious pup with you everywhere you go, but you shouldn’t have to strain your muscles in order to do so. So, we here at Pet-Pet feel your pain. While checking out Le Doggie Couture online, we found the perfect solution to aching “carrier arm.” What better way than to bring your pooch around town with you than with a beautiful pink stroller?

So, let’s say you have a hot lunch date that you simply cannot miss, but you don’t want to leave your darling Yorkiepoo home all by herself. No worries. Just bring her along in the stroller. Now, you won’t be denied entry to that favorite cafe, because unlike many other strollers, you can have the carrier compartment completely zipped closed (with mesh material, of course.) No health code violations here. No sir.

Start a new trend with this adorable stroller. Just think how many people will be blown away when they see your beloved furry baby inside. Or, on the other hand, they will just think your nuts. And if that’s the case, well, they just don’t understand us pet people. Who needs ‘em, anyway?!

When Trick or Treaters Come A-Knockin’, My Dog Will Be A-Rockin’

October 14, 2005 at 4:35 pm by DarlaKitt

Dog Elvis CostumeYou know, I’ve always had this theory that every dog has his or her own inner rock star, and I am convinced that the Murphy dog’s is Elvis Presley. Most of the time, he lounges around all super-cool, but every so often he’ll just go hog wild and act like a total spaz. He has the cool-greaser-tough attitude, but at the same time can be a big ‘ol mushie lovie face. Of course, I am comparing Murph to the young, hip, cute Elvis, not the fat, bloated, strung-out-on-pills-and-bacon-sandwiches one.

Because of my conviction that Murphy’s inner rock star is Elvis, you can imagine how excited I was to find the “Rock Star” doggie costume on the Drs Foster and Smith website. Murph can rock out with it all out this Halloween, just like The King. The Drs Foster and Smith online catalog is a great resource for all things pet-related, from cute outfits and fun toys to specialty dog foods, pet hygiene products and medical care supplies.

For everyday wear, my rock star dog can strut his stuff in the red rhinestone encrusted Elvis tee from Moxie Lane. Also at this website for the “dog-obsessed,” you will find simple recipes to make your own yummy dog snacks, because we all know rock stars need personal chefs to cater to their discriminating palates. Taryn’s Terrific Tummy Tickler Treats are super easy to make and don’t require any weird ingredients. These are cut-out cookies, so whip up a batch using the Halloween cookie cutters from Williams-Sonoma and throw a rockin’ Halloween shindig for the neighborhood pups.
